Pictet Luxembourg: appointment of Pierre Etienne

Pierre Etienne joined Pictet in May 2002, beginning his career with the Bank as a member of the Management Committee of Pictet Luxembourg, where he successfully headed the administrative and operational activities of the Group’s investment fund platform in the Grand Duchy. In 2009, the scope of Pierre Etienne's responsibilities was widened when he joined the Management Committee of the Group's custodian bank in Geneva.   Pierre Etienne is Belgian and holds a degree in civil engineering and applied mathematics from the Université catholique de Louvain and an MBA in Finance from Chicago

Business School. Before joining Pictet he held a number of management positions, including as head of finance and operations at Banque Fortis in Luxembourg and then as director of e-banking at the Banque Générale du Luxembourg.

Specialised in custodian services, the structuring and administrating of investment funds as well as in providing advisory services to private clients, Pictet & Cie (Europe) S.A. is the bank assigned with the task of steering the Pictet Group’s development within the European Union and to which the branches in France, Germany, Italy and Spain report.
